Our Mission

One platform for every green actor across the Arab World

The Arab World is home to some of the world's most climate-vulnerable countries and some of its most ambitious youth. Yet the opportunities, networks, and resources they need are scattered across dozens of websites, languages, and institutions.

Green Gate MENA was founded in 2022 to change that. We aggregate fellowships, grants, events, and programs from across the globe — and make them searchable, accessible, and actionable for Arabic-speaking youth and organizations.

Launched as a youth-led initiative to connect MENA youth with climate opportunities.

2023

First 500 Community Members

Grew to 500+ active youth members across 15 MENA countries within the first year.

2024

Regional Partnerships

Established formal partnerships with 30+ NGOs, UN agencies, and regional institutions.

2025

GreenX 2025 Summit

180+ participants from 22 countries gathered for the region's premier youth climate summit.
